Square Diamond

Description: hand woven rug, 100% wool. Color palette: un-dyed wool, wool dyed with indigo with resist dyeing technique (ikat), cochineal, fustic, pomegranate and red madder.

Size: 4´ x 6´

Textile inspired by the geometry of the Zapotec square diamond which form a double pyramid design in the center pf the piece. For this rug we made combination of the gradation weaving technique with the geometric traditional pattern from Teotitlan.
